How to Choose the Right Arkrocket Turntable
-
Check physical dimensions first
All Arkrocket Saturn V models are large furniture pieces. You must measure your available floor space before buying. The standard Oak and Dark Oak versions share identical dimensions of 26 inches wide, 51 inches tall, and 15 inches deep. However, the Elvis model lacks listed width and height data, listing only its weight. Verify these measurements against your room layout to ensure the unit fits properly without obstructing walkways or other furniture.
-
Verify wireless connectivity needs
Bluetooth support varies significantly across the Saturn V lineup. The standard Oak and Dark Oak models both include Bluetooth for wireless audio streaming. The Elvis edition also supports Bluetooth. However, the Dark Oak FM Radio model omits Bluetooth entirely, offering only USB connectivity. If you plan to stream music from your phone or tablet wirelessly, you must select a model that explicitly lists Bluetooth in its specifications to avoid compatibility issues.
-
Compare digital media inputs
Digital playback options differ between models. The standard Oak and Dark Oak versions support both SD card and CD playback. The Elvis model supports CD but lacks an SD card slot. The FM Radio version supports CD, SD card, MP3, and AM/FM radio. If you frequently listen to digital files stored on memory cards, ensure your chosen model includes an SD card reader. Rely on the published attribute list to confirm these media capabilities for each specific unit.
-
Assess weight and stability
These turntables are heavy, floor-standing units requiring sturdy surfaces. The standard Oak model weighs 66 pounds. The Dark Oak version is heavier at 76 pounds. The Elvis model is the heaviest at 100 pounds. The FM Radio model weighs 80 pounds. Heavier units generally offer better vibration isolation for vinyl playback. Ensure your floor can support these weights. You should also consider whether you need a stand, as the Elvis model is listed without one.
-
Confirm radio and USB specs
Specific connectivity features define each model’s utility. The FM Radio version includes AM/FM radio and USB ports, but no Bluetooth. The standard and Dark Oak models offer Bluetooth and USB but no radio. The Elvis model has neither USB nor radio, relying on Bluetooth. Check the connectivity list carefully. If you need to record vinyl to a USB drive, avoid the Elvis model. If you prefer traditional radio listening, the FM Radio version is your only option among these four.
